Sports The Only Indoor Off Road Dirt Track in Northern Nevada

Fernley R/C Raceway opened it's doors May 1, 2010.

Business owners Jayson Perrine & Dana Randlett saw a need in Fernley for people and families to go and have tons of fun.

The Fernley R/C Raceway has the only indoor off road dirt track in Northern Nevada and has built in computerized timers for sanctioned racing.

Owner Dana Randlett said, "We have been talking about doing something like this for the last six months. We choose Fernley because we both live here and we think that Fernley needed a place where kids and families can go and have fun. We want people to go away feeling that they had a great time, enjoyed themselves and will be back."

The greatest challenge for Jayson and Dana was to build a indoor off road dirt track that would appeal to the novice and pros drivers alike. To make it competitive for all drivers.

The R/C Raceway is great for novices and pros alike along with retail cars and parts and hobby like items. The facility will be holding races two nights a week and have open track the rest of the week.
Rentals are also available for those wanting to try out the sport or don't have your car with you when you stop by.

Their first sale was from a female driver that is getting back into the sport.

Jay himself was a sponsored racer, who raced against some of the best in the sport of R/C racing, and has more than thirty years of experience.
