Second Meet Held For All City Swim Team

The second Fernley All City Swim Team held their second ribbon meet on Saturday July 21st. In all twenty-four swimmers competed.

Events for this meet included free-style, back stroke and butterfly. There were front and back kick-board events as well. All swimmers have worked very hard to improve their skills and times over the first meet. The bleachers were full of cheering fans and proud parents.

The final meet is scheduled for Saturday, August 18th from 7:00AM – 10:00AM. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded at ceremonies immediately following the competition.

Come out and support the team and cheer for your favorites. Several “Best Time” records are expected.

The Fernley Pool is located at the corner of Cottonwood and Hardie Lanes.
