July 2007 Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Milton Rudd for being selected as July Volunteer of the Month. Milton is the husband of Kathy Rudd. During his career he was a Meteorologist for 30 years. Milton helps out here at the center by volunteering with AARP to do taxes once a year. He also helps his wife Kathy put together the funny jokes they bring in every week.

Kathy and Milton lived in Winnemucca before moving to Fernley. He has been volunteering here at the center for 12 years and has volunteered for about 55 year’s total. My! That is a long time. Milton states he gets great satisfaction helping his fellow man and by knowing he has helped out another person.

Well, we here at the Fernley Senior Center appreciate all you do Milton. And we look forward to many more years of volunteering together
