 Congratulations to Lisa Emery for being selected as our May Volunteer of the month.
Lisa and her family have lived here since 2001 moving from Pueblo West, Colorado. She has her husband Stephen, Son and daughter in law, and six grandchildren.
Lisa has been a volunteer for 21/2 years here at the Fernley Senior Center. Her duties include teaching seniors and children to paint fabric and wood, she also leads other craft classes, helps with fundraising events and anything else that might come up.
She volunteers about 15 hours a week in various ways.
Lisa enjoys volunteering and would encourage others to do so because, “It is simply a good thing to do”
Lisa, all of us at the Senior Center appreciate your commitment to everything you do here. Your expertise and patience are a valuable asset. Your art work is amazing and we all enjoy learning from you each week. Thank you.
