June 2010 Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Joanne McCassie.

She has been selected as our June 2010 Volunteer of the Month.

Joanne has lived here for 32 years.
She has been volunteering here for 3 years. She helps with the Birthday parties, auctions and those types of events.

She became a volunteer because she came here to play bingo and found she really enjoyed the people here. Then she saw where she could lend a hand and started to help out.

Joanne has her husband Joe, one daughter and two sons. She also has three beautiful grandchildren.

Joanne encourages everyone to become a volunteer because here at the Fernley Senior Center it is a fun and rewarding experience.

We appreciate Joanne because of all of the small things she does. It is all of those things that add up to one wonderful volunteer!!!!
