Dolly Truesdell has been chosen as our August volunteer of the month. This is a huge surprise to her, but for everyone else it couldn’t be a better choice!

Dolly has been volunteering for over twenty years in the schools, hospitals and libraries. Here at the center she has been a volunteer for 7 years helping with Monday night bingo, and the front desk as needed. She works about one day a week, or as needed.

Dolly became a volunteer here at the center to give her something to do and to feel good. Her favorite thing about volunteering is it makes you feel needed, it’s good for your heart and it is enjoyable.

Dolly has two sons, one daughter and 5 grandchildren.. Prior to moving to Fernley she lived in Colorado and worked as a teacher’s aide.

Dolly we all thank you for your great attitude and positive energy.
