April 2010 Volunteer of the Month

Dave Tilley has been chosen as April’s Volunteer of the Month.

Dave has lived in Fernley for almost a year. Prior to moving here he lived in Livermore, CA.

Dave has been a volunteer here at the Fernley Senior Center for 6 months.

His specific job duties include mainly helping out in the kitchen, but he is also a jack of all trades, so really anything we need help with he is right on it! He volunteers about 30 hour’s week, unless he has other commitments.

His favorite thing about volunteering is being able to give back to others.

He enjoys all of the people around him while he is here.

Dave has two son’s ages 8 & 15.

Dave says everyone should volunteer because we all need back to helping each other!!
