ESL Thanks Rotary for Generous Donation

I wish to thank the members of the Rotary Club of Fernley for their generous donation to the ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada.

  The funds will be spent in purchasing instructional material to start new non-English speaking adults who live in Fernley into our program. 

We teach on a one-on-one basis at no cost to the student.  The program has been very successful in that over 400 adults in 5 Northern Nevada counties can now communicate with children's teachers, doctors and other medical personnel without an interpreter. 

Our students now help their children with homework and  can purchase needed items in English speaking stores. 

We teach English as a Second Language, GED preparation and Citizenship Study.
