Six locations have been chosen for Fernley’s sixth annual Art, Home & Garden Tour. The 2008 addresses will be revealed later in May. They include homes that truly represent the diversity of Fernley. “These are homes where real people live” explains Nancy Campbell, committee chairperson.

This year’s “picks” include a remodel with a gourmet kitchen and entertaining area, a cozy ranch complete with cowgirl country décor, a custom build with it’s own hunting & game room, a landscaper’s home that features a trout pond, an “art house” that will display local artists, musicians and authors’ works and, for the first time in Fernley’s Art, Home & Garden Tour history, a school will be featured. East Valley Elementary School is Fernley’s newest school facility, built in 2006, it is school to 600+ of Fernley’s elementary students.

Mark your calendar for June 14th and take a self-guided tour of some of Fernley’s most creative homes and gardens. Tour Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at the Mirage Garden & Gift on main street in downtown Fernley and at East Valley Elementary School (E.V.E.S.). Proceeds will go to support E.V.E.S.’ art & music programs. This event is supported by the Lyon County Room Tax Board Grant.
