Several events are planned this week for those who can help.
1. Tomorrow afternoon (Thursday, January 10) the flood area will be canvassed to notify residents of the upcoming Saturday cleanup (#2 below). Meet at the In Town Park at 1 p.m. In Town Park is between Center Street and Hwy. 95A just south of Main Street.
2. Community cleanup of flood zone Saturday January 12 beginning at 8:30 am. Gathering location to be announced. Bring gloves, boots, square blade shovels, maybe masks.
3. Clothing distribution is at the Community Center, Main and Center Streets, 10 am to 7 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. NO FURTHER DONATIONS OF CLOTHING ARE NEEDED. Come by to help if you can.
