Sinking Ship Of State

Well I've been gone for a while and apologize to those of you who occasionally peruse this column.

But I've been discouraged after writing about the various problems facing us to no avail.

You may have seen my articles on Pres. Bush and his spending spree driving us into the poor house. You may remember me calling him a democrat in republicans clothing. TA da!

You also may recall my saying that the country was course towards financial ruin because of his spending, (drum roll please)

I wrote about the Libertarians and the third party option, Ron Paul in particular, who was probably our last hope before Socialism crept into our system and took it over completely. I may have been wrong about the creeping part, oh, it creeped along for nearly 80 years or longer, a chip here, a chip there, and was on it's way towards a complete take-over but not for another generation.

But as Bush was about to leave office, the policies of the past "supposedly" created a "crisis" in our financial markets requiring swift and drastic measures which gave Bush and his cohorts the opportunity to spend a trillion dollars of tax payers money to buy our way out of the mess.

And the Republican party had already succeeded in placing yet ANOTHER liberal in contention for the presidency , having shut Paul out with their eye rolling and snickers during the debates, because conservatives wouldn't vote for another bleeding heart lib who claimed republican party membership, so the democrats won the election handily. Making the first black president with a socialist/marxist background in charge of the sinking ship of state.

But this new president, with no experience whatsoever except apparently staring into a mirror and practicing his speech making previous to being elected, wasn't happy to just rearrange the deck chairs in the Titanic ship of state, but instead brought in a bunch of his socialist marxist buddies and immediately planned on spending ANOTHER trillion dollars on a fools errand AND making his 4 TRILLION DOLLAR budget sound like the second coming, wait a minute,, HE is supposedly the second coming, so I guess the budget is the work of the lord.

And hidden in the two are a socialistic health care system, a new way to force doctors to report our health and treatment to the Feds in order to get permission to continue or change treatment, 9000 earmarks (while our good black president swears there are none,,hell, the entire bailout is nothing BUT  earmarks) and the doom of our Republic.

So yes, I've been discouraged and feeling down, not wanting to write, only trying to figure out how long our monopoly money is going to be able to buy anything at all.

My suggestion to anyone who reads this is to buy precious metals if you at all can, get out of the stock market even at a loss, learn how to grow a garden and start barter systems in your neighborhood.

Because my next prediction is that a depression the likes of which have never happened before is coming, and coming like an out of control semi coming down the grade from Fernley to Reno, and if you aren't prepared for it your going to be in one of the unfortunate cars who couldn't get out of the way.

And as you know, my predictions are seldom wrong, in fact, they've been spot on.
