While the rest of us are suffering hardship and doing without, 2 days after the electorate said they wanted nothing to do with him or his agenda, a day after the Fed announced an unbelievable way to finance our own debt by issuing worthless paper money to buy our treasuries, King Barack has fled the country with 3000 of his court minstrels to India and other far flung places at a cost of, get this, a reported 200 million dollars a day.

This little "working" 10 day vacation will cost the taxpayers a reported 2 billion dollars.

I'm glad the Recession hasn't affected our most important public servant, aren't you?

I remember the old quote by Spock on Star Trek who frequently said "Live long and Prosper", a sentiment which is the antithesis to King Baracks' health care plan and fiscal policies.

To live long a person has to be blessed with either extraordinary genes or get a diagnosis and medication and the resulting treatment for what ails them.

Under King Baracks health care plan, the majority of people who are scheduled to be covered under His plan will be seen only by doctors who agree to work in a government controlled health care agency and will be limited as to their treatment recommendations by a government agency which will base said recommendation on a cost/benefit basis. And to be sure that will be determined a lot by age as evidenced by the answer which King Barack gave to an audience member when asked about the questioners grandmother. To paraphrase, the King was asked if his 90 yr. old grandmother had a heart problem which needed required treatment what would the health care bill do? To which, again paraphrasing, King Barack replied something about the quality of life and how a pill would probably be provided so she wouldn't be in pain.

So much for the live long part of Spocks departing words.

And his fiscal policies, with the stimulus and bailouts etc, seem to be nothing more than an excuse to advance his agenda by having a tremendous amount of money to give to Unions, takeover of banks and companies, and half baked solar and wind power projects and which seem to have all but ignoring the majority of us, payoffs and a little bit of money to sign making companies to put up signs next to the freeways saying something to the effect that the highway improvement is provided by the US Government stimulus money with no sign of actual work going on. Very few jobs resulted from this vast expenditure of tax money but his friends and supporters apparently made a killing.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch, the rest of us are twiddling our thumbs wondering where the next dollar is coming from. I have eaten chili for dinner the past week,, and even that's gone now.

So for a lot of us the prosper part of Spocks departing words are unimportant to King Barack, who apparently wants to cut this once rich country down to size by redistributing it's wealth worldwide not for the sake of making anyone better off, but by making everyone equal. Except the ruling class that is.

And the King , the head of that ruling class, is off spending 200 million a day on a ridiculous trip where he can see the Festival of Lights and a world famous Moslem Mosque in a blatant display of haughty obliviousness ala Marie Antoinette.

It's good to be the King.
