FINALLY! EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE!

Nevada Wilderness Coalition Donation Drive!!!

The breached levee in Fernley left many of our friends and neighbors without homes, clothing, bedding and warmth. Please help them by donating any extra warm clothing, blankets, sleeping bags and toiletries between now and Thursday, January 17th.

Donation boxes are located at two locations:

Friends of Nevada Wilderness office, 1 Booth St. in Reno, on the corner of Booth and Idlewild, between Reno High School and Idlewild Park. For information, call (775) 324-7667.

The Nevada Wilderness Project office at the Patagonia Service Center, 8550 White Fir, off  West 4th St. in Reno. For information call (775) 746-7850.

Donations will also be accepted at next Tuesday's Wilderness Happy Hour (1/15).  Next week, Brian Beffort and Cameron will deliver the items in person to the Fernley Community Center, where donations are being gathered and distributed.

Volunteers needed! Volunteers will also be needed to help Fernley residents clean up, salvage what they can and throw away what's been destroyed.  If you're interested in joining our volunteer work party, call Brian at 324-7667 or Cameron at 746-7850.  If you have time to volunteer this week, call the volunteer hotline at the City of Fernley at (775) 784-9800.

Thank you in advance for caring about Nevada and our fellow Nevadans!

For the wild and each other,

 The NWP Crew
