INVESTMENT WORKSHOP

Ken Rye of Edward Jones Investments will offer a free four-week investment workshop Saturday afternoons in February at the Fernley Branch Library. The workshop will meet from noon until 2:00 p.m. on February 2, 9, 16 and 23. The workshop will cover the basics of stocks, bonds and investing for individuals. The material presented is for educational purposes only and does not constitute an offer or recommendation to invest in specific investment products.

A minimum number of 10 people are needed for the workshop and pre-registration is required. Interested participants may register by telephone or in person at the library by January 23. The library phone number is 575-3366; the library address is 575 Silver Lace Blvd. The library is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
